AU Exhibition – Celebrating the Release of the Art Book Satsui
Illustrator AU, who has been gaining major attention on social media, is holding a special exhibition to celebrate the release of her first art book, Satsui (published by Genkosha)!
This exhibition will take place across two venues:
- April 23 – May 17, 2026 at the EDITION88 Flagship Shop (Gotanda)
- April 29 – May 6, 2026 at Design Festa Gallery Harajuku
AU has built a strong following online thanks to her delicate linework, highly detailed characters, and striking use of light and shadow. Her dark yet fantastical world has captivated fans both in Japan and overseas.
This exhibition will showcase works from her first art book Satsui, including newly created illustrations.
Two Worlds, Two Experiences
The exhibition is split into two different themes across the venues:
１. AU World (AUWD) – at the EDITION88 Flagship Shop
Featuring around 40 works centered on a mystical world of gods, filled with unique and powerful characters.
Dates : April 23 (Thu) – May17 (Sun), 2026
Open Days: Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday
Closed: Monday–Wednesday
Opening Hours: 12:00 PM – 6:00 PM

2. AU Orphans (AUORP) – at Design Festa Gallery Harajuku
Featuring over 50 works focused on a story about orphans, highlighting character relationships and emotional depth.
Dates: April 29 (Wed) – May6 (Wed), 2026
Hours: 11:00–19:00 (Last entry 30 min before close)
Location: Design Festa Gallery Harajuku (EAST 2F)

Customers who spend ¥6,000 or more (tax included) in a single transaction at either venue will receive a signing ticket (first 100 people total / 50 per venue).
Please note: Purchases from both venues cannot be combined.
About AU
AU is an illustrator known for creating two original worlds: AUWD (AU World) and AUORP (AU Orphans).
Her work often portrays otherworldly beings in human form—beautiful, mysterious, and sometimes unsettling.
She has also contributed illustrations to projects such as Fate/Grand Order and Touken Ranbu, as well as music videos for VTuber Kuzuha.
