Kosuke Fujishima Original Art Exhibition – 40th Debut Anniversary

To celebrate the 40th anniversary of manga artist and character designer Kosuke Fujishima’s debut, we are pleased to present a special exhibition looking back on his remarkable career.

The exhibition will feature rare original manga pages and color illustrations from works spanning his earliest years to his most recent titles, with a special focus on Oh My Goddess!, alongside You’re Under Arrest!, Paradise Residence, STRIKER THE SHINING STAR, and Toppu GP.

The exhibition will also showcase color illustrations from two of Fujishima’s best-known works as a character designer: the Sakura Wars series and the Tales of series.

Centering on his career as a manga artist while also highlighting his achievements as a character designer, the exhibition traces 40 years of creative work through approximately 100 pieces.

Exhibition Highlights

This exhibition will feature original manga pages and color illustrations from Kosuke Fujishima’s works, spanning from the early years of his career to the present day.

Color illustrations from some of his best-known works as a character designer, including the Sakura Wars series, will also be on display.

With a primary focus on his manga works, the exhibition will also highlight representative titles from his career as a character designer.

Approximately 100 works will be exhibited, offering visitors the opportunity to explore the creative world Kosuke Fujishima has built over the past 40 years.
