This 88Graph captures the nostalgic atmosphere of the era when Kimagure Orange☆Road was first serialized and aired.
According to Akemi Takada herself, “It was around the time when people started using rug mats or mattresses instead of chairs or tatami.”

A fixed-line telephone is also depicted — a symbol of connection between two people — enhancing the sense of intimacy within Madoka’s private room.
The composition was carefully designed with subtle gradations of similar tones, creating a warm and cohesive harmony between the room, Madoka, and the telephone.

The edition number is inscribed at the lower left corner, limited to 300 pieces in total.
All 88Graph prints by Akemi Takada feature a custom-designed frame, created in collaboration with the artist.
This piece is presented in a white frame with a pure ivory mat, chosen to naturally complement the soft and nostalgic atmosphere of the illustration.
