To celebrate the 15th anniversary of the KOTOBUKIYA BISHOUJO series, we created this 88Graph from an illustration by Shunya Yamashita featuring the new original character ""Kotobuki Kotomi"" of BISHOUJO series.

At first, I came up with a few name options like Kotobuki Toko-chan, Kotori-chan, Mikoto-chan, Kotone-chan, and Ko-de-chan, and let the Kotobukiya team choose. I thought names with ""Koto"" had a cute ring to them.
Her hobbies might be video streaming and cosplay? The formal dress was a request from Kotobukiya. We thought her hair would look better styled up or curled with a formal dress, so she ended up looking quite mature for a 15-year-old.

By using fine paper infused with glittering powder, like mica, we create a unique brilliance that enhances the illustration and gives it a glamorous impression.
We carefully adjusted the colors to faithfully replicate the skin tones and the fine gradations of the dress.
