Tetsuo Hara
Born on September 2, 1961, in Tokyo. Made his serial debut in 1982 with "Tetsu no Don Quixote" in Weekly Shonen Jump (Shueisha). After some one-shot works, he began serializing "Fist of the North Star" in 1983 in the same magazine, with Buronson as the writer, which became a massive hit. Even after the serialization ended in 1988, the series continued to expand into various media. In 1990, he serialized "Hana no Keiji – Kumo no Kanata ni –," based on a novel by Keiichiro Ryu, which also became a hit. In 2001, he began serializing "Fist of the Blue Sky," a side story to "Fist of the North Star," in Weekly Comic Bunch (Shinchosha).
