Shipping Policy and Customes Fees

 

Shipping Time

• Most of our products are made-to-order, so please allow us a certain amount of time for shipping. Please check the shipping date written in the product information for each item on the website.

• Shipping may be delayed during long vacations such as year-end and New Year's holidays.

       

Delivery time

• Once shipped, products are usually delivered to North America, EU, and Asia within 7 to 10 days. 

• In the event that re-shipment is necessary due to the customer's personal circumstances, or an error in the shipping address information provided by the customer, the customer will be responsible for re-shipping fee and storage shargers for it.

 

Shipping charges

• Products are shipped from Japan. Please note that international shipping charges vary depending on the dimensions weight and country of destination.　

• Shipping charges are calculated at checkout, please check carefully before placing your order.

• Framed art prints tend to have higher shipping charges than unframed due to the higher volume and weight.

• For shipments within Japan, shipping is free for purchases of 10,000 yen or more including tax.

 

 

Taxes & Customs Fees for international shipping

Our products are shipped from Japan and may be subject to customs duties, import taxes, customs fees, etc. in the destination country. Please note that you are responsible for all fees incurred in the importing products.

 

EDITION88 DOES NOT collect those fees directly and therefore those are not included in your total amount due.　We strongly suggest that you contact your local customs office to verify the duty rate prior to placing your order.

 

It is your responsibility to investigate the amount of taxes and duties you will owe prior to your shipment. EDITION88 uses the harmonized code that we have been told is appropriate for the shipping of our products to your region. Your customs office has the authority to change this code on its own. If you feel that your final code/tax is not correct, then you can contact the carrier and/or your customs office directly to request a review.

 

If a package is refused due to excessive import fees and duties, you will be responsible for any return shipping fees that the carrier will charge EDITION88 to return the package.

 

Any international deliveries that are refused will still be responsible for these import fees and taxes, and they will be deducted from the refund due upon the item’s return. Any items that are abandoned by the carrier and not returned to EDITION88 will be considered lost and no refund will be issued.

Delivery

• We use DHL as our international carrier for safe and fast delivery as far as possible. For shipments within Japan, we use Yamato Transport. Other shipping companies cannot be selected.
• We apologize that we are not able to specify the delivery date and time. We appreciate your understanding in this matter.

 

Package Tracking

When an item is shipped from EDITION88, you will receive a notification to the e-mail address you registered when you placed your order. You can track the whereabouts of your package using the item number in this e-mail.
