When creating covers for my art books, I always try to make each one stand out with a distinct “color” impression.
For KAEN (“Brilliant Flame”), I decided on the motif of a swallowtail butterfly in yellow, red, and navy blue — colors that harmonize beautifully against the purple background.

On the Art Print, from EDITION88
This 88Graph (Platinum Edition) is printed on paper with a delicate glitter finish. By preserving the paper’s texture and separating the reflections in Shana’s eyes from the background, the piece gains remarkable depth.
To create a sense of dimensionality, artisans at EDITION88’s studio applied delicate hand-coloring to the Cocytus area, resulting in a truly luxurious finish.

The mat features an original design created specifically to complement the world of this piece, with silver paper that expresses the flicker of flames and the vastness of the sky.
