Butsu Zone is Hiroyuki Takei’s debut serialized work, which later connects to SHAMAN KING.

The story follows Senju, the thousand-armed Kannon, who is sent to Earth from the Buddhist Pure Land. He travels with Sachi Saigan, the reincarnation of Miroku Bosatsu (Maitreya), guiding her toward enlightenment. Along the way, they face battles against the Buddhist enemy Mara as they journey toward India.
