Butsu Zone, 88Graph #6 / Hiroyuki Takei

This 88Graph is based on the cover illustrations for volumes 1 and 2 of the Shueisha Bunko “Butsu Zone”.

Senju and Ashura are depicted in contrast, like light and shadow.
To enhance the illustration’s contrast and transparency, silver aluminum vapor-deposited paper was used as the base.
The radiant light and beautiful lotus flowers on the left side make the most of the paper’s glossy finish, while the gradients on the characters and shadows are given a calm, matte finish.

The frame is gold, chosen to complement the artwork’s world, paired with a simple black mat. With a modern Japanese aesthetic and a convenient size, this piece is easy to display in any room.
