88Graph 'Moon & Rose' (Platinum) / Mutsumi Inomata

Mutsumi Inomata was said to have loved this fighting game so deeply that she eventually purchased the arcade cabinet herself. She created numerous illustrations for it throughout the 1990s. This 88Graph is a valuable edition derived from one of those rare original illustrations.

One of the works that had long been kept privately by the artist, Mutsumi Inomata—an original rarely seen by the public—has finally been unveiled. To commemorate this occasion, the piece has been reproduced as an 88Graph edition so fans can enjoy it for years to come.

It is produced on a special paper embedded with sparkling pearl particles. Carefully reproduced are the haze of light, the brilliance of the moon, and the matte black textures. To create a striking contrast between the matte black background and the red roses, a glossy finish has been applied to the surface to emphasize their interplay.

Mutsumi Inomata’s gold-foil signature in the bottom right corner adds a distinctive sense of luxury. For the Platinum Edition, the piece is presented in a thick silver frame with a black mat, giving the work a weighty and refined presence.
