88Graph 'Panthers' / Mutsumi Inomata

Mutsumi Inomata was said to have loved this fighting game so deeply that she eventually purchased the arcade cabinet herself. She created numerous illustrations for it throughout the 1990s. This 88Graph is a valuable edition derived from one of those rare original illustrations.

The subtle gradations of the original artwork are carefully preserved to maintain the integrity of the shadow tones.
Pearlescent paint has been applied throughout to emphasize the black panther’s coat, giving it a lustrous, velvet-like sheen.
