I drew her in a swimsuit and high heels to capture that glamorous era.

On the Art Print, from EDITION88
This 88Graph was created in response to many customer requests.
The original illustration was drawn for the packaging of a garage kit and features the characters styled as race queens to match the theme of the kit.

This marks the first time Akemi Takada’s monochrome artwork has been transformed into an 88Graph.
To capture the allure and dimensionality of the two figures within a limited color palette, particular attention was given to replicating the shades and tonal depth of black with exquisite precision.

The edition number is inscribed at the lower left corner, limited to 300 pieces in total.
For this piece, a special silver frame reminiscent of a race car was selected, paired with a black mat — black on both surface and core — to perfectly match the illustration’s tone and create a cohesive presentation.
