I gave the familiar 109 scenery a light finish using pen and transparent watercolor. It unexpectedly turned out to have a rich and charming atmosphere.

When we first saw the original piece, drawn with pen and watercolor, we were thrilled to discover a new dimension of Tokyo Genso's talent. Unlike their digital works, the watercolor artwork evokes a completely different impression, beautifully harmonizing nature and urban landscapes. The result is an extraordinarily calm and warm scene.

In creating the 88Graph, we focused on faithfully capturing the texture of the watercolor to preserve the warmth of the original artwork. Replicating the color of the sky to match the original was particularly challenging, but in the end, we achieved a result we are truly satisfied with.

The mat was designed to complement the artwork’s tone, with a natural touch: green edges and a cream-colored surface. Its compact size makes it easy to display anywhere in your home.
