Akemi Takada Solo Exhibition “Angel Touch 2026” Coming This June!
We're excited to announce Akemi Takada Solo Exhibition -Angel Touch- 2026, taking place at the EDITION88 Flagship Shop in Tokyo from June 25 to July 12, 2026!
This special exhibition will feature original artwork by renowned illustrator Akemi Takada, including brand-new illustrations from Magical Angel Creamy Mami created especially for this event, along with a selection of her beautiful original works.
Visitors will also be able to view and purchase hand-signed 88Graph fine art prints, original artwork, and exclusive exhibition merchandise.
Special Feature: Watch the Creation Process!
As a special highlight, we'll be screening a rare making-of video showing the creation of the new Magical Angel Creamy Mami key visual.
Follow Akemi Takada's creative process as the illustration comes to life through delicate linework, soft colors, and transparent watercolor effects. The full video runs approximately 15 minutes and will be shown exclusively at the venue.
A short version is also scheduled to be released later on Studio Pierrot's official YouTube channel.
Original Artwork Exhibition
In addition to the newly created Creamy Mami artwork, the exhibition will showcase a variety of original illustrations by Akemi Takada.
This is a rare opportunity to experience the beauty, warmth, and elegance of her artwork up close.
Akemi Takada Signing Event
A special signing event with Akemi Takada will be held on:
July 12 (Sun), 2026
2:00 PM – 4:30 PM
The first 100 customers who purchase an original artwork or 88Graph print at the venue will be eligible to participate.
Participants will receive a special shikishi board personally signed by Akemi Takada, complete with their name.
Purchase Bonus
Customers who spend ¥5,000 or more (tax included) at the EDITION88 Flagship Shop during the exhibition period will receive a special pearl-finish art card.
