Born in Kakogawa-city, Hyogo, Noizi Ito became a freelance illustrator after working for the PC game brand Unison Shift.
She is well known for her works as the illustrator for Shakugan no Shana and Haruhi Suzumiya, which are young adult novels called light novels in Japanese.
Currently, she is one of the most popular illustrators in Japan, working in a wide range of fields including illustrations for light novels, visuals for bishōjo games and character designs for regional revitalization projects.
In August 2022, "Noizi Ito exhibition / Shakugan no Shana artworks" was held in Akihabara, where 35 original drawings were displayed.
As the second phase, it was announced that "Noizi Ito exhibition / The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya artworks" was scheduled to be held in November 2022.
