Forty years since the serialization began, "Kimagure Orange☆Road" continues to be loved in Japan and around the world, even after the passing of Izumi Matsumoto. It is supported by many of you who still love the work. That is why, with every opportunity to draw anew, I want to create pictures that convey the characters' hearts as still alive and present here. In this latest illustration, as the sun sets and dusk approaches, I've captured the moment Madoka steps into the sea and looks back at Kyosuke following her. I hope you can feel Madoka's hidden feelings from her gaze.

The 40th Anniversary Special Edition is a limited specification with only 8 pieces available worldwide!

Each piece of the Special Edition has been sprayed with pearlescent paint, which emphasizes the gloss depending on the viewing angle, resulting in a very vivid finish.
