Based on a steampunk-style drawing of Akihabara that I had previously created, I created a version of the cherry blossoms in full bloom.
I love the contrast between the powerful cityscape, which works ceaselessly, and the nighttime cherry blossoms, which are clad in warm tones.
On the Art Print, from EDITION88
Akihabara has been transformed into an industrial area reminiscent of the Industrial Revolution era. The dignified appearance of the cherry blossoms, illuminated by the full moon night sky, creates an indescribably beautiful scene.
In creating the 88Graph, we were careful to balance the contrast of the entire image, while maintaining the vividness of the cherry blossoms in the highlights, so that the details in the shadows would not be destroyed.
