Free international shipping
The symbol of Shibuya is SHIBUYA109 building.
In contrast to the battered appearance of the building, the flowers in the foreground are a breath of life, adding a beautiful contrast.
The waterfall on the left, with the sound of falling water almost audible, evokes the power of nature. This is one of the first works of Tokyo Genso.
In a previous interview, Tokyo Geno said.
“It is the very first place I drew, and it is a work that sums up everything I am about. There is water, greenery, and a waterfall coming out of this place.”
“I had an image of Angkor Wat in the creation of Shibuya 109 Genso.”
On the Art Print, from EDITION88
The gradation of the sky and the flowers in the foreground highlight the beauty of this work, so we carefully adjusted the colors to reproduce these areas beautifully. A special attention was also paid to capturing the light coming in from the left side of the screen, as well as the depth of the image.
